How the Exhibition went:

This is me at senior thesis show last month.

This is the sign for the thesis show because god knows I forgot what the dates were for it until I saw this photograph.

I never got to mention a lot since I’ve been fairly busy post-May into early-June time. (mostly with my bills/debt crisis’) However! I thought I would take a moment to share now.

It was a nice experience. Unfortunately we were on the third floor of Fox building which probably only 50% of people knew to visit, and then in a classroom near the office which only 30% of that 50% knew to come in to.

Bummer placement in terms of actually getting your artwork seen. (I had to make that sign)

However it was still a nice experience. I got to see a lot of the artwork done all around the school which was a nice way of expression considering I know very few people. I also had a lot of fun staying next to my art pieces in a room with 4 other people trying to look pleasing and approachable and not putting on my begging face so that people could buy art. Those four people made it fun though. It was nice to chat with some of the graduating peoples of the Illustration dept since I ever got to know anyone too personally. And with those passerbys who started up conversation and showed interest.

All in all a nice experience.

Oh yeah, and seeing my stuff hanging was cool. I didn’t think I’d like the set up of being “gallery artistic”, but it wasn’t so bad c: To everyone I got the chance to talk to and who helped put this together for us, thank you so much for the experience. And thanks to Kit (Alex + Stru), Kat, and my family for coming by.

It’s nice to be just about done with the whole college thing and this was a nice way to head it off.

(btw, sorry if you were in the room and I didnt put you in. I either got a bad photo or I can’t remember your name because you either werent there much or I’m just a dunce)
