I just thought I would share the early sketches for this commission since I’m going to have to change them. The character isn’t quite an oc, more like a description list that I had to come up with an character for.
I have a habit lately of drawing sassy ladies and I had the feeling she’d want something more mellow which led to the second image. I think the end result will be mellowing out the sassy chick and pushing the character to the leftside of the page like this shoop:
I might scrap this and stick with the second image though, since it has more hair focus and that was a key to the request. That one kinda seems Yumeka Sumomo-ish in hindsight.
